The next time you feel like taking a sip of cola or caffeine, just go for a bottle of water. There is nothing like drinking the elixir of life. Did you know that water is the most natural way to treat any skin problems? That’s why skin experts recommend that drinking at least six to eight glasses of water daily is ideal for healthy skin.

Hydrate Your Skin
When you don’t drink enough water, your skin tends to get dehydrated. This is the first factor that causes your skin to suffer. Water helps in cleansing your body, clearing toxins, which in turn give you a clearer complexion. Drinking lots of water help in maintaining that glow on your face.

Keep Skin Soft And Supple
Water consists of alkaline with pH 7.3, which is useful in preventing dehydration.
It is also essential in creating sebum from the sebaceous glands, thereby keeping your skin soft and supple. Excessive dryness of skin can result the skin to loose its elasticity, which in turn can causes premature wrinkles.

Clearer Skin
When your body receives enough water daily, your problems of constipation reduces drastically. This in turn prevents you from getting acne. Water helps in transporting nutrients and oxygen to all parts of your bodies and the healthiness reflects on your skin. Water keeps your pores clog free that helps to maintain clearer skin.

~ While you should have six to eight glasses of water daily and even more, there are other ways of incorporating H2O into your diet.
~ Start your day with a warm glass of water with a dash of lime juice and a teaspoon full of honey. This helps in clearing out toxins from your body.
~ Have seasonal fruits, especially water melon and grapes that are rich in water.
~ Sip in lemon tea, iced tea, lemon drink or milk shake—whatever it takes to send water into your system is a very good habit.
